New phone, new plan, same number

I have a new phone!! (err… I will Tuesday). I switched over to T-mobile Saturday and got the Sony Ericsson T610 phone. Pretty cool, but i broke contract with ATT to do it… didn’t want to wait 6 more months for it haha 
The day before, I was only joking with Uyen that i’ll break contract if i win the lottery to pay for the $175 early cancelation fee. Well, i didn’t exactly win the lottery , but an old teacher of mine called me up and was like ‘I need help with my computer’… so I fixed it and got $50 dollars out of it
Amazon currently has the promo for making $100 after rebates on the phone, so, i’m only out $25 bucks on breaking contract – hopefully money can fall from the sky or something. I’m stoked, can’t wait until it arrives… new phone, with bluetooth!, and a wireless headset to match.
Best of all… I get to switch my cell number over from ATT to T-mobile! yay!
I went to dinner with the fam tonight at the Gold Garden Seafood Resturant on 82nd between Powell and Division tonight. The food was grub! That was fun.
I think I’m gonna go out with a few friends later tonight and just hang out… possibly watch a movie or something.

Major server crash this evening (or perhaps earlier this week… i dunno)…my website is down. again. I’m fed up with OneHost, the service sucks and it seems like that they have no idea what they are doing.
At this time, it seems like my data is a loss and I will never get it back.
When i get back to Corvallis, first thing that’s going to happen is that I’m going to call them and demand a refund. Afterwards, i will forward all requests of thomasng.net to my ONID account at school.
Anyway.. time to go out.

I woke up around 2pm Friday afternoon. My friend had called me around 11 am this morning and I was like … eh you woke me up But it was a nice conversation. Things are going in the right direction again for her. So that was good news.
I stayed awake yesterday (i guess you can say today) until 5am watching movies and just randomly surfing the web instead of sleeping. Wow, at 2pm, it’s already dark outside and that’s sad!
I think i’m finally going to see Lord of the Rings: Return of the King with Jill tonight. So that should be cool… maybe Starbucks afterwards or just chill out somewhere.
Until then, I’m gonna go shower, get breakfast/lunch (or whatever) and pick some movies to watch…. ooo! If you want to help with that… post a comment with a number between 1 and 396 and I’ll pick a movie from my movie list to watch. I pick #153 for now –> ICE AGE! .
After I woke up, I had a question in my head: why do we Xanga/weblog/blog/online diary our lives?
I find it kinda funny that there are so many of us that stick to Xanga to write about our daily lives and things that makes us happy, frustrates us or makes us sad. It’s an open book to the world letting strangers read the material that we write, yet we don’t seem to mind in the first place. It’s like the soap opera of our lives typed out in words on this place.
I stopped updating twice this past Fall term and some people e-mail me asking what’s up and what not, and why i didn’t update. Strange, yes… that these are people that I don’t know. But we keep writing away anyway.
So why do we Xanga/weblog? So yea.. Give me your thoughts on it, comment! – even if you are someone that I don’t kow. This should be interesting.

Dude, it’s hecka windy outside my house right now. It feels like something out of a horror movie or the like… its way cool! I watched Signs yesterday night because I had nothing better to do (err.. I was going over chapter 1 of the Signals and Systems book … hehe what a dork I am ). The movie was pretty good. Back to reading for Signals. The material doesn’t seem to bad so far. lets keep it that way, shall we?
