Do you recognize a difference between 0.002 dollars and 0.002 cents?

Do you recognize a difference between 0.002 dollars and 0.002 cents? Please tell me yes that you do.
0.002 dollars is 2/1000 of a dollar or 0.2 cents right? 0.002 cents is 2/1000 of a cent, right? Simple yeah? Well, the people at Verizon don’t understand that! I found this blog entry (and audio and transcript to match) of this guy who is calling Verizon to dispute his bill.

Ran out of engineering paper
Mar0
I was just about ready to start on the final homework assignment and I noticed that I have no more sheets of engineering paper. Its kind of funny though. Five years ago, the first class of my college career was in MTH251 and Professor Hart told us to do our homework on engineering paper because it looked nice and it was easier to read – that and I think the TA’s also graded on neatness. At the time, I didn’t want to spend $5 on a pad of ENGR paper and did the first assignment on regular notebook paper. Jump ahead 5 years, and it’s kind of funny that my last homework assignment might be done on notebook paper (that is unless I can get a sheet or two from you — hint, hint
)
Yes, I remember random shit like that
Dancing, a hypothesis
Mar0
First off: Happy 23rd Birthday Alexandra! Joann, Alexandra and Erin together… that’s some hot stuff!
Ah, so I bring you a hypothesis with two posulates for the lack of dancing tonight:
Postulate 1: I only dance after I have alcohol in my system.
Postulate 2: I consumed zero drinks tonight.
The presence of postulate 2 negates postulate 1 thus I did not dance. Wee.
