Whistler/Blackcomb Snowboarding Video

This is some video that Simon shot while we were going down Blackcomb Mountain, Whistler Canada. I want a helmet cam to capture all the jumps and runs
Who wants to buy me one?

Snowboarding Whistler :)

I ditched my plans of going snowboarding at Meadows on Wednesday and replaced it with snowboarding at Whistler with Simon and Connie. I can’t wait.
I’ll definately post some pics and videos of this trip. I’m leaving on the 28th, and will return at night on the 30th… just in time for our New Years and our annual celebration with my high school friends.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!
It’s been a few days since my last post. Since then, I’ve:
- Gone snowboarding with Lam and two of his co-workers @ Meadows
- Hung out with my friends at Nat’s party
- Bought a neato Christmas present for myself. You’ll see what it is in a few days. :p
- Caught up on my TV shows (Bones, House M.D., Lost, Scrubs) and also watched Hitch for kicks

Here are some pics from Simon’s camera:
I landed on my jump!

So after seeing one triumph, these are my other jump attempts for the day… I hope I never have this form going off a jump again. They hurt on the landing. Thank goodness for the helmet, wrist guards and the knee pads! … Now if I only had a butt pad for these… I look like a cartoon character going off the ledge. Shoot.

The snow was absolutely fresh, and it was just perfect for the second weekend! — but it was COLD. The temp at base camp (5250 feet) was 15 degrees in the morning, and 13 degrees at 6600 feet. The high at base camp was a mere 18 degrees, and at 6600 feet, it only got up to 16 degrees!
To start, here are some pics of Simon’s doing some jumps with crazy air!
